Identify products that cannot be shipped or that require approval, documentation, special packaging, or a different service.

Restrictions can apply at several stages

A product can be restricted by the retailer, origin country, carrier, airline, warehouse, customs authority, destination country, or final delivery service.

Check before purchasing

Do not assume a product is shippable because a retailer accepts the order. Verify eligibility before paying, especially for batteries, liquids, aerosols, medicines, food, cosmetics, chemicals, weapons, plants, animals, and high-risk goods.
