Describe the actual product, material, purpose, quantity, and model clearly enough for customs and safe handling.

Use specific product language

Descriptions such as gift, goods, accessories, samples, parts, or personal items are usually too vague. State what the item actually is.

  • Better: cotton shirts, adult clothing, quantity 3.
  • Better: replacement LCD screen for mobile phone, quantity 1.
  • Better: stainless-steel cooking utensils, quantity 5.
Separate different item types

List materially different products as separate declaration lines with their own quantity, value, origin, and classification information.
